Laikipia county women rep Cate Waruguru on Monday joined other national leaders in mourning the death of businessman Chris Kirubi.

Cate described the late Kirubi as a patriot whose entrepreneurial spirit, hard work and determination saw him create some of our country’s largest enterprises which offer employment to thousands of kenyans.

“I join other Kenyans of goodwill in mourning Business man Chris Kirubi.
My message of condolences to the family and friends.May the Lord grant you strength to overcome this trying time.May His Soul Rest In Eternal Peace,”Cate stated.

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga also stated: “Chris Kirubi was my friend and one to many others and a mentor to even more. He was a dedicated entrepreneur and philanthropist who helped scores of Kenyans over time. My heartfelt condolences go to his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched. Rest In Peace Chris.”

Deputy President William Ruto also joined leaders in mourning the fallen business leader eulogizing him as the “most visible business personalities”.
