PS Bashir emphasized the importance of the project, stating, “This museum will ensure future generations understand the sacrifices made for our independence.”

The initiative aligns with President William Ruto’s commitment to documenting the Mau Mau struggle, with support from the National Museums of Kenya. Once complete, the museum will serve as a tourist attraction and an educational center, boosting Nyandarua’s cultural and historical significance.
