“This is a major step forward in our promise to deliver homes that are both accessible and decent,” said PS Hinga. “Boma Yangu continues to lead the way in turning housing dreams into reality.”

The project is part of a national effort to close Kenya’s housing gap through strategic partnerships with counties and private developers. Hinga highlighted that the Boma Yangu platform allows Kenyans to register, view available projects, and reserve units online—making homeownership simpler and more transparent.

With the Machakos site now complete, the project stands as proof that affordable housing is achievable through coordination, innovation, and focused delivery.
