Raila Odinga is expected to return to the country on Tuesday morning after an extended stay in Poland. The MCAs expressed that Raila will provide guidance and be the voice of reason in the face of the controversial Finance Bill, which was passed by the National Assembly and subsequently assented to by the President, despite public outcry.

Imwatok reaffirmed the MCAs’ unwavering support for Raila Odinga and emphasized that Azimio MCAs in Nairobi cannot be swayed or bought. They declared that they will not succumb to fear or be influenced by external forces, highlighting their readiness to confront any challenges as the majority in Nairobi.

The Azimio la Umoja, through the One Kenya Alliance, will host a public engagement forum on Tuesday to discuss the Finance Bill for 2023. Raila Odinga will lead the people’s Baraza at Kamkunji, with other Azimio leaders like Martha Karua and Kalonzo Musyoka attending to address concerns related to tax hikes.
