Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja’s plans to decogest the city from rowdy and disorganised Public Service Vehicles is a dream that will not materialise any time soon.

This comes after revelations pointed out that ,Chief Officer Mobility Bonface Nyamu has been on alooting spree from Matatu sectors Milking million of shillings and issuing out PSVs stages that are not gazetted.

According to close sources within cityhall the officer has been blamed for his high appetite for money, what they term as subbotage of the highest order.

The sources further said the officer has been allocating stages to any matatu saccos that are not even registered, and in exchange he receives millions of shillings.

“Governor has been trying to bring order and sanity in Cbd ,but this officer goes behind the back and do opposite from what his boss is planning, “he said.

This comes after Mr Nyamu refused to give an order banning all PSVs picking and dropping passengers in various petrol stations in Nairobi even as Nairobi County Assembly had directed so on the floor of the house.

The mcas had argued that, this is a disaster in waiting if amicable solution is not done at this early stage.

In the year 2021,Public Service Vehicles were banned from picking and dropping passengers at petrol Stations through amotion before the Nairobi County Assembly.
