George Odhiambo, a carrier bag seller from Mbita in Homa Bay County, has been announced as the third winner of the KES 1 million weekly grand prize in Coca-Cola Kenya’s ongoing ‘KachingChing na Coke’ promotion.

George joins the ranks of newly minted millionaires, following winners from Ngong and Kericho.

George, a dedicated family man residing in Homa Bay County, earns his living by selling woven bags at Mbita market to support his family. Reflecting on his win, George shared, “The most amount of money I have touched in my life is KES 6,000. This is a life-changing moment for me and my family. In 2002, I became an orphan after the sudden loss of my parents. Since then, I have struggled to survive, doing minimal jobs like herding and construction and never really got to go to school. I am incredibly grateful to Coca-Cola for this opportunity. It is a chance for me to transform the lives of me and my family and build something for myself.”

Coca-Cola Kenya’s ‘KachingChing na Coke’ promotion, launched in May, offers cash prizes ranging from KES 50 to KES 1 million. With three winners already announced, there are still 10 more chances for consumers to become millionaires in the coming weeks.

“We are delighted to see that our promotion is supporting and uplifting the lives of ordinary Kenyan people, which is the essence of this campaign,” said Theuri Chege, Country Manager, Coca-Cola Kenya.

How to Participate:

  • Purchase Coca-Cola beverages in 200ml, 300ml, and 500ml returnable glass bottles.
  • Check under the metal crown for a unique code.
  • Send the code via SMS to 40111 for a chance to win various cash prizes.

Participating packs include Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Krest, Stoney, and Schweppes. Coca-Cola Kenya encourages all consumers to continue participating in the ‘KachingChing na Coke’ promotion for a chance to win. With 10 more millionaires to be made, the excitement is far from over!
