Garisa county women representative Anab Gure is the latest female leader who has declared to vie for an Mp seat in Fafi constituency come 2022.
Speaking on Monday in Garisa town during the commissioning of various projects in the county, the UDA allied leader said that she has made up her mind to go for an Mp seat come 2022,so that she can continue serving her people as a member of parliament.
“Am going for this Mp seat 2022,the current mp has done little,”Gure said.
Gure further accused the current mp of failing to initiate development projects at the grassroots, promising to defeat him at the ballot.
“If your MP is not working for you, let him go home. We will scout for votes as women and we will not allow some leaders to mislead the people,” Gure said.
Gure also used the opportunity to rally the Garisa residents to support deputy president William Ruto for countrys top seat under UDA party come 2022, saying that Ruto is the best candidate who will create jobs to Kenyan youths using the bottom up approach.
“I want to urge all of you to vote for Ruto in 2022 , because with the bottom up economy, our youth will get jobs, our economy will favour everyone,”Gure stated.
Gure is among the few women rep leaders, who have declared to contest for the Mp seat come 2022 general elections.
