Ngatia to Lead Azimio Campaigns in Nairobi

Nairobi gubernatorial hopeful Richard Ngatia has said that he is ready to lead the Azimio La Umoja campaigns in Nairobi for Raila Odinga.

Speaking on Monday 21st when he met women groupsin Nairobi,Ngatia who is seeking the Azimio La Umoja ticket for Nairobi said that his plan is to support plans that will see Raila Odinga win over 70 percent of votes in Nairobi as well as the coalition winning majority seats.

“Nairobi is Baba’s bedroom and some of us are ready to help him rubberstamp that come August 9 when Kenyans will vote for their preferred leaders,”Ngatia stated.

He said that he is ready to support all those who will get through the nomination process that will be held in April.

His target,he said is to help the movement win over 13 out of 17 parliamentary seats in Nairobi, over 60 MCA seats as well as the senate and Woman Representative seat.

“ I don’t engage in anything to fail and when I say we are going to do it I know what I mean and  this is the year that we are going to walk together,”Ngatia added.

Ngatia said that he is not troubled by the rivalry for the Azimio ticket in the gubernatorial contest,stating that he is ready for any process that will see the right candidate selected.

“What matters for me now is the million of ideas that I have for Nairobi and even as we continue to engage with the people, we confident that we will be on the ballot,” Ngatia said

According to source within Jubilee party who sort anonymity,said that Ngatia will also be endorsed by the Jubilee party NDC meeting this coming weekend as the coalition flag bearer for Nairobi top seat.

“Our party is expected to endorse Raila for presidency and Richard Ngatia for Nairobi gubernatorial race, the talks have been finalised and expect major announcement this weekend,”He disclosed.
