Nairobi, Kenya – Cabinet Secretary for Lands, Public Works, Housing, and Urban Development, Hon. Alice Wahome, highlighted the critical role of engineers in Kenya’s growth during the 2024 Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK) President’s Dinner. The annual event celebrated achievements in engineering and explored future opportunities in the nation’s infrastructure development.
In her address, Hon. Wahome lauded engineers for their pivotal contributions to national projects, urging them to maintain professionalism and accountability. “Engineers are at the heart of Kenya’s transformation.
