After salivating for Vihiga and Nairobi gubernatorial seat for a long time, Makadara MP George Aladwa will now vie for Senator post in Vihiga County.
Aladwa has given a chance to the new development after ODM leader Raila Odinga endorsed Godfrey Osotsi as next Vihiga governor.
Speaking in Vihiga Aladwa says he has no authority to oppose ODM top leadership and that he will abide by the decision of the Party.
“I have considered all options available and it is true that Osotsi is likely to carry the day and I must now work out my senatorial bid as directed by the party.ODM has spoken and it is my turn now to obey the same.Tunapenda baba na hatuezi mpinga.” Aladwa said.
Siaya senator Oburu Odinga asked Aladwa to embrace Osotsi and forge forward for the betterment of the Party.
“Aladwa is our son and we can not get rid of him it’s the decision of the Party to have him vie for senatorial seat so that we achieve peace and stability in Vihiga.” He added.
