Mwea MP Hon. In a recent update on her efforts, Hon. Maingi announced significant progress in the surveying and preparation for electricity connectivity in Mwea. She revealed that a team from her office and REREC had conducted surveys in various villages, including Ikulungu, Eden, South Ngariama, and Kanjinji, with the aim of identifying households in need of electricity.

Yesterday, the team successfully visited 128 homesteads in Ikulungu and Eden villages, followed by the finalization of the process with 122 homesteads in South Ngariama and Kanjinji today. These visits mark tangible steps towards the realization of Hon. Maingi’s vision of achieving 100% power connectivity in Mwea.

Expressing her dedication to this cause, Hon. Maingi reiterated her commitment to ensuring that every resident of Mwea has access to electricity.
