Kilimani MCA Moses Ogeto has gained huge in the just concluded ODM grassroots elections this is after his team swept all delegates positions in Dagoreti North Constituency.
He won in Gatina ward,Kilimani,Kileleleshwa and Kawangware.
The delegates will now proceed to elect their County and constituency Chairmen in April.
“It was a good exercise and that victory alone symbolizes our effort to ensure that we retain this seat. So I want to thank our people for giving me the delegates. This was a democratic process and I must thank the coordinators from my party for making sure that the process is free fair and accountable.” Ogeto said.
Dagoreti Delegates Reaction
“Ogeto ni kiongozi wetu mtaani na amekuwa akifanya poa kwa zile roles tulimpea kama MCA na kama chair wetu wa ODM, hii win ni bwaku kwa mavijana and as delegates we shall make sure anapata hii kiti.Hatutaki masangwenya kwa chama tumejua MP wetu hana msimamo angoje Gachagua alete chama yake aingie amekuwa naye.’’ Malcom said.
‘‘The grassroots elections were quite peaceful and we want to applaud the [arty officials who ensured that everything is seamless free, fair and accountable. Many could not believe that we can enjoy that kind of peace. Secondly MCA wetu Ogeto ametusupport and we must give back by ensuring that anapata hiyo kiti ,’’ Gatina delegate added.
