Kiambu County Woman Representative Ann Wamuratha has spread the true spirit of Christmas by helping alleviate the financial burden of a family faced with a staggering hospital bill.

Benjamin, a Githurai resident originally from Kandara in Murang’a County, had been hospitalized for eight months at Reale Hospital in Utawala, accumulating a Ksh 1.6 million bill. Through the intervention of President William Ruto, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Hon. Betty N. Maina, and Hon. Wamuratha, the debt was fully cleared, restoring health and hope to Benjamin and his family.

“This is a moment to thank God and celebrate the power of unity and compassion. Let us continue to uplift each other and make a difference where it matters most,” Wamuratha said.

She also encouraged Kenyans to enroll in the State House Affiliation (SHA) program, noting its potential to ease financial strain during medical emergencies.

This act of kindness serves as a reminder of the season’s true essence: generosity, unity, and spreading hope to those in need.
