Nairobi County Assembly Majority Chief Whip Moses Ogeto has told off Dagoreti North Member of Parliament Beatrice Elachi over her quest for ODM chairmanship for Dagoreti North.
Ogeto who is also Kilimani ward MCA reminded Elachi of her political pasts and trends where she openly defied ODM ideologies and directives in National Parliament.
According to Ogeto Elachi is a political mongoose who who have been manipulating ODM leadership for her own benefit.
”We can not hub someone without party ideologies she must concentrate in supporting Gachagua.We all know her antics and this time round “madam opportunity” will not make it in ODM Party.This position is not hawked to party hoppers.” The firebrand MCA told the ODM delegates.
The ODM grassroots elections are slated for tomorrow at all levels.
“Every aspirant is required to pay a participation fee of Ksh. 100 (one hundred
shillings) to be eligible for election.During the exercise, only registered members will be eligible to participate inthe elections. Copies of the register will be available in all the 47 counties by
close of business tomorrow (Tuesday 26, Nov) in readiness for the exercise.
County Elections Coordinators have been trained and equipped with all the
necessary skills and materials to ensure the exercise runs smoothly and
efficiently.” Mrs. Awita Elections Committee Chair said.
