Quickmart supermarket has today marked its 15 year anniversary at the Kilimani Branch rewarding customers with prizes worth millions and assorted incentives running for 30days from today.
This follows the consumer campaign under the theme ‘Sherehe Ibambe’ banner where customers will be able to win 5 brand new cars and valuables across all its stores.
Speaking during the official launch of the celebrations at the Kilimani branch in Nairobi, the supermarket Head of Commercial Betty Wamaitha stated that the first ever Quickmart supermarket started in Nakuru town amid the vibrancy of the town then.
“We are putting our customers at the heart of this 15-year anniversary celebration. It is because of their loyal support that we have come this far and earned a place among tier one supermarkets in Kenya. We are thanking them with the various prizes and incentives and promising them that we will continue to walk with them into the future” said Ms. Wamaitha.
She said the supermarket has 45 branches operating in eleven counties employing a workforce of over 4,000 members serving an average of 3 million customers.
The event at the same time sought to acknowledge and reward hard working and long serving staffs.
Wamaitha lauded the suppliers and farmers who have partnered with the supermarket to ensure customer satisfaction was achieved.
Quickmart CEO Peter Kang’iri said, “Our growth guarantees access to the market for over 24,000 farmers who enjoy a regular income by supplying fresh produce to the Quickmart stores countrywide. 30% of our products consist of fresh produce. Our supplier network includes over 600 businesses from different sectors.”
He said the supermarket has structured stores adhere to the Ministry of health protocols keeping workers and clients safe from the unrelenting Covid-19 pandemic.
It was further noted during the function that the supermarket will continue to partner with other organizations to continue develop health and wellness and sports as in the sponsorship of CAR 50.
