Mobility and Works CEC Brian Mulama Assures County Vehicles Will Have Fuel by Next Week

Mobility and Works CEC Brian Mulama has promised that they are working hard to ensure County vehicles have fuel by next week.

Mulama who recently took over the sector after the reshuffle by Governor Sakaja said the grounding of the vehicles is caused by the delay of release of funds from the Controller of Budget. (COB)

 “As we come to the end of the financial year, there have been issues with finances for fuel. We hope by next week the Controller of Budget   will have forwarded the money to us,” Mulama stated.

He stated that they will soon plan on how they will have different suppliers and also have a petrol station for the county.

The CEC emphasized that they will prioritize fire engines and ambulances first before the other vehicles.
